B R Right...

I really like that song, if you can tolerate Trina, look for it.

Anyway. Been working on that painting a little more. Still got a couple more sessions before I finish, but I'm working kind of slow. I've been taking a break from Me-Zine.org, but I promised to start working on it again in April (which is almost here). I'm looking forward to getting the whole thing wrapped up and finished so I can move on to new stuff. All in due time. Maybe if I focus really hard I can get it all done in a long, sleepless weekend. That would be neat. Why did I commit to this again. That said, here's your art.

Biyatches! I work for mine! ... not that that really applies here.

Not a lot to say, I;m working kind of slowly. Everything is placed where it's supposed to be, so now it's just a lot of working the blending till I'm happy with it.

Vegetarian Camp Was In China...

Yeah, that's right, I'm a 25 year old guy who has no qualms about watching ABC kids on a saturday morning. Personally, I think it will make me a good father someday. I thought I had more to say than that. I guess not.

Well Damn...

Apparently I'm in a good mood and don't have anything to vent about today. So it's one of those rare sketch but no reload days. Oh, I did however write a bad ass poem for the topic of the month ofer at Me-Zine.org. WHAT YOU SAY?!? You haven't visited Me-Zine.org. For Shame...

Still stalling...

I don't really like repeating the same painting over and over again, but I suppose it gives you people a chance to observe exactly how I work, which is pretty neat. It's fairly apparent that I worked on the background. All that's missing really is a wolf and a bit of detail to the moon/sky if it suits me. Also, I need to detail the beams of the wall, which is important if I want to convey effectively that the background is a painting on the wall. Good day, yeah me or something.

A Fighter...

I'm a fighter, that's not going to change any time soon. I wasn't always like that, and when it happened, I don't know. Somewhere along the line I realized the power in me that no one ever really noticed before. Somewhere along the line I was like fuck that, I want everything. So yeah, if you're not, get used to it. Right now, I fight for myself, but, really, what's the point of all this fighting if you don't have something really worth fighting for?

I'm out of witty remarks, quick, stall... banana hammock

This is a painting I'm workig on for a friend, it's quite long. The final will be across two small posters I believe, a total of 40 inches (I hope I have this thing in a high enough dpi, I might hve to take it up). Most of the elements in the piece are based on photo refrences provided for me of one Megumi (note: I attempted to find an actual site for her, but that search degenerated very quickly into some very scary things, so you'll have to deal with this random page). She's not quite as cute as my recent favorite Masuimi (isn't she adorable?), but should be interesting enough to paint. This is the really early stages, only the second sitting. I'm doing everything on the computer for this one instead of sketching it out. I think it's neat how even in the early stages, you can see how everything starts to come together. Also note just how important strong and interesting lighting is to the overall piece. I love the shadows//highlights on her chest (which is friggin' huge, oh my god, how does she see around those things), but I think I will add a second rim light to make it more interesting. Probably something in a purplely magenta to accent all the green/aquas. Next time I post, I'll try to have some of the bacground filled in too.

Kryptonite...

Have you ever met someone who like your own personal kryptonite? What exactly are you supposed to do against that? Even Superman couldn't beat that shit. You'd have to be like a Super Superman. I don't think I'm that super yet.
