Oh Em Gee

OMG, it's been almost a year now. I haven't sketched or reloaded in a year. for shame. Ok, let's do a little bit of both, first:

This was an epic birthday present for a friend promised a couple of years ago. That's right, some five years ago I promised to do a poster for a friend (you may remember it). It was going to be the fairly large piece to be printed at 24 x 48. It would have been so cool. Well, some things happened. The hard drive it was on burned out (kinda literally), and my friend was heading off to China, so I decided to fast forward produce something for him before he left. The resulting painting came out pretty well, but stupid CafePress didn't get it in time because they claimed the image was a copyright violation ?!? Whatever. More to come soon hopefully.
